Why Velarium?​

Our company was created out of a desire to protect our clients' wealth through clear and comprehensive financial planning, delivered on a truly personal level.

 

Alongside this, we strive to help our clients understand complex financial issues to instil confidence and to develop the required strategy to achieve their aspirations.

 

Our brand evolved from the definition of Velarium and reflects our core values:

 

Velarium:  1) a large awning used in ancient Rome to shelter an Amphitheatre from the weather

2) an inner ceiling used to improve acoustics in a theatre.

At Velarium we aspire to develop relationships that go beyond a purely professional connection.

We formally commenced trading in April 2022 and, 12 months later, we have 80 clients and over £25m under management. We believe this is due to our genuine interest in our clients' retirement objectives, our ability to deliver clear and comprehensive financial planning using the most detailed software available in the market, as well as a very competitive fee structure.

Our goal is your financial prosperity, therefore we need to provide you with detailed advice via regular meetings and correspondence, in order to really understand your personal and financial objectives, and to ensure the suitability of the advice for future success.

We believe this can be achieved through detailed cashflow modelling, illustrating your financial position each year throughout your life, and recalibrating this at every annual, face-to-face meeting. This helps us to identify exactly how we need to adapt each year to ensure your later life aspirations remain achievable, and gives you reassurance that your long term financial independence and happiness is possible, not just a pipe dream.
